Dear 1B Families,
This week we focused on retelling the story by using our story element words of characters, setting, problem, and solution. Our letters and sounds we focused on this week were: j, r, and v. In our vocabulary journals, we focused on the words- characters and setting. In math, we worked on addition skills through 5 and will take our addition test Monday. We will then beginning subtraction through 5. We started our new science unit studying plants. In Religion, we are continuing to focus on the Hail Mary Prayer.

Vision Screening-
We will be having vision screening at school on Tuesday,
October 15th. Please see the attached letter to this email for more information.
Homework–
Homework packets went home on Monday, September 30. Please support your child with their homework. The packet is due at the end of the month. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Math Night-
Thursday, October 17 from 5:30-6:30 is Math Night. Please bring your family to this fun event. There will be math games and activities your child can teach you.
