What are we learning
Math: This month in Math we are reviewing our numbers and counting. We will follow with addition and subtraction. Each morning we are working on a pattern, graphing, and keeping track of the number of days in school.
Reading: This month we are assessing the students reading abilities. We use the DRA (Developmental Reading Assessment) to learn the skills and abilities each student has and place them in reading groups. In addition, we have each student identify the letters and the sounds they make. After these assessments we will start reading groups.
